<p>Wendy Mortimer says that as the cold weather approached a friend bemoaned that her favorite neck warmer was in tatters and would not make it though another season. “I thought it a great idea for a Christmas gift so out came the graph paper and I set to work. I chose some of her favorite colors and was delighted with the way they looked together. I had lots of yarn left over so decided to do up a pair of gauntlets to match.”</p>
